I really wouldn't recommend downloading one of those large cc folders; besides what niinaas said, they have also been known to contain duplicates, broken cc and unwanted script mods. Just take your time looking for cc, doing it all at once can be tiring.
20 mar 2013 · Check Mods Folder: Your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\ folder should look like the picture, with three items inside... two folders, one called "Overrides" and one called "Packages" and one file called Resource.cfg. Double-click on the folder called "Packages" to open it.
5 cze 2023 · If you have downloaded a lot of Sims3Packs, place them into: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads. If you downloaded ZIPs, you first need to extract the Sims3Packs from them, then place it in the Downloads folder.

Installing CC in the Sims 3 might seem a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it after installing a file or two, it becomes second nature. Before you start downloading anything though, make sure you have a folder designated specifically for your Sims 3 download files.
