The dog that the eagle “dropped” into Margaret’s arms was a stuffed prop. For the scene in which Margaret runs around holding Kevin by the waist, the actress was well-rehearsed on how to hold the dog and run with him, and the eagle hovering above was digitally added in post-production.
The Proposal (Blu-ray) Directed by Anne Fletcher. Rated PG-13. It has all the trappings of the standard rom-com but, thanks to Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock, The Proposal is still worth accepting.
