The Flume Gorge is a 2+ mile hike in Franconia Notch. It’s an easy hike along graded gravel trails and boardwalks. There is a $20 ticket fee, which is steep for a hike at a state park. But the Gorge is amazing and beautiful - a narrow channel of waterfalls and rapids between sheer cliff walls.
26 lip 2021 · The Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park is one of our favorite places to visit in New Hampshire. It’s a moderately difficult 2-mile loop with 500 feet elevation gain through a picturesque forest and a striking narrow gorge with cascading waterfalls.
28 maj 2019 · Because winters in New Hampshire can be brutal, the Flume Gorge is only open to the public from May-October. It is conveniently located right off of I-93 North. Operating hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm daily.
