12 lis 2020 · Although the pandemic has slowed the process, there remains interest in helping to bring back the Clark House to a functioning facility for all to enjoy. The Development Services Director continues to work with a party looking into opening a restaurant in the historic facility.

22 lis 2024 · As I have touched on in past notes, plans are moving ahead to transform the Clark House at Shadow Pines. Plans include rehabbing the original Clark House dwelling and tearing down more recent additions to create an event space that the community can rent.
Now known as the Clark House on the Shadow Pines property. Built circa 1817, this house has a unique Colonial Revival style. This home was moved from its original location to save it from destruction. Mr. Penfield promised his wife a house that was equal to the graciousness of the home they were leaving on the tip of Manhattan.
