We have designated 2024 as the “Year of the Crossroad” and are embarking on ambitious plans to rehabilitate several essential connectors that link the east and west sides of the valley.
In partnership with the Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA), construction continues on the new southbound lanes of SR-29 and the two roundabouts of SR-221/Soscol Ferry Road traffic with completion scheduled as early as Fall 2024. The project also includes a new 1,200-foot Class I bicycle and pedestrian path.
THE BRIDGE HAS A SUFFICIENCY RATING OF 53 OUT OF 100. CALTRANS IDENTIFIED THE BRIDGE AS ELIGIBLE FOR FUNDING UNDER THE HIGHWAY BRIDGE PROGRAM. BRIDGE IS CURRENTLY UNDER A SCOUR ACTION PLAN REQUIRING INSPECTION AFTER HEAVY RAIN EVENTS.
