2 kwi 2009 · The after market speed-O housing with metal clad seal... pry out the seal with a screw driver. The problem is the small rubber seal in the rebuild kits does not fit the opening... too small. you need the metal clad seal or buy another housing unit complete like pictured.

This time we replace the speedo cable bullet and gear with the seals, and the tail shaft seal as well.
2 sie 2017 · We have to replace the speedometer drive gear in the transmission to get our speedometer reading correctly. I think I understand how to get the old gear out and the new gear in, but have a few questions. It is a TCI TH350 (Turbo 350) transmission.
6 mar 2021 · I bought a steel replacement speedo bullet off eBay (for a TH350) and it worked and is still working fine. I had a rear end that was blowing axle seals ... turned out the vent was plugged.
2 kwi 2013 · I have found that if you don't feel a 'click' when you push the gear into the housing the housing needs to be replaced. If you do feel the 'click' then replacing the seals should stop the leak. 2005 Pontiac GTO (My Car)
