2 kwi 2009 · The after market speed-O housing with metal clad seal... pry out the seal with a screw driver. The problem is the small rubber seal in the rebuild kits does not fit the opening... too small. you need the metal clad seal or buy another housing unit complete like pictured.

2 sie 2017 · We have to replace the speedometer drive gear in the transmission to get our speedometer reading correctly. I think I understand how to get the old gear out and the new gear in, but have a few questions. It is a TCI TH350 (Turbo 350) transmission.
This time we replace the speedo cable bullet and gear with the seals, and the tail shaft seal as well.

7 mar 2003 · There are two little seals on the speedo cable. Everyone knows about the oring on the outside, but there is a little orange lip seal that goes around the speedometer gear that leaks easy. Just take the little screw out and pull the whole module so you can get a good look at it.
