So what you've probably not noticed is there are slots on your character that aren't specified. This is to prevent clipping issues but it's not great at it. Some hats count as eyewear, mouth cosmetics, hoods, and just plain hats. Only problem is it's incredibly inconsistent.
22 lut 2018 · After opening the file with your desired notepad, you may see a lot of text inside it. Press CTRL + F and input your desired misc/hat name. I'll be using the Head Prize hat as example.
Most community servers have the events enabled, so you can use your cool new hats there! I recommend Uncletopia, but there are plenty available in the server browser.

Apparently if one class is wearing it, another won't. Wear it on your medic, and it won't appear on soldier, and vice versa. It's a known bug being worked on.
