So recently I became determined to make my trash PC max out 165hz refresh rate on my 1440p monitor, so I went through all "Maximise your TF2 FPS" guides and combined tips from all of them. This is the result.
12 lut 2022 · All you have to to is go to your TF2 folder > tf > cfg. There create an autoexec.cfg file, and you can put console commands in it. These will execute when the game launches.
High FPS configs alter the way the game looks dramatically (beyond what you can find in the graphics options in-game), but also increase your FPS dramatically. I have around 30 FPS without a high FPS config, and a costant 120 FPS with it.
