The Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) is the online site for educators to access their certification account to verify or apply for certification. The Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL) is a secure gateway where access must be set up before an educator can access their certification account.
Anyone holding a valid Texas public school educator certificate can view his/her certificate through the secure Certificate Lookup. The virtual certificate is the official record of an educator’s certification status, eliminating the need for school districts and individuals to keep paper copies on file.
How do I renew my certificate? Log in into your TEAL account to access your educator account, click "View My Educator Certification Account" to access your ECOS account and complete the online application titled "Renew a Standard Certificate" and pay the fee.
