1.4 Shark spawn rate - Nerfed? So, I'm trying to farm a few shark fins pre-hardmode and I've setup the 2 blocks underwater thing as always but it's taking forever. In half an hour I only got 2 sharks, one in each ocean (I switched because the first one was close to a corruption biome, so who knows).
The Shark is a pre-Hardmode enemy that spawns in the Ocean. Sharks are rarer than other Ocean enemies like Crabs or Pink Jellyfish, though they are still relatively common.
Sharks can only spawn within 250 tiles of the map's edge, or from a Shark Statue. Sharks do not flop around on land like most other fish, making them less dangerous to approach when beached. Along with other water enemies, Sharks will ignore players who aren't submerged in at least one tile of water.
27 paź 2023 · Intro. This is a simple and easy farm for those who want to get ocean drops without waiting around for the enemies to spawn. These drops include: Diving Helmets. Jellyfish Necklaces. Shark Fins. Black Ink (Black Dye) Purple Mucus (Purple Dye, Rainbow Dye)
Find a shark statue, power it with buttons and wire. This would have taken you 30 seconds of just looking at the shark page on the wiki. Make sure you are not in an area that has lowered spawns due to NPC housing nearby (like if you have the angler and other NPSs on the beach).
21 lut 2021 · So I am trying to get a mega shark and I sat with water candle for a whole day and not a single shark spawned. I think went to the bottom of the ocean and somehow I managed to find one. I have created a whole new world to farm them.
The Hemogoblin Shark is a Hardmode enemy that can be spawned by fishing during a Blood Moon event. When the bobber dips and the player attempts to reel in a fish, a Hemogoblin Shark, among other enemies, has a chance to spawn within a few blocks of the bobber in place of a fish.
