I found the Optic Staff more useful against Fishron than his own Tempest Staff. Are the Pirates really the best option for AFK-farming? It's definitely the weapon I have the least experience with.

From my experience, blade staff needs work to be better. As in both +5 piercing accessories then it begins to stack up to some of the hardmode summons. 5 cze 2016 · Optic staff by a long shot. And for that reason too. Pirates are melee users. Optic is ranged and melee. 2 for one deal. It does higher damage faster

9 wrz 2016 · The Optic Staff sits at a unique position in the game. Being a mech boss item you usually end up acquiring it after going through the meat of Hardmode, that is, Early Hardmode and most of the biomes therein, aswell as pirate invasions, and eclipses if the Twins were not your first boss killed.
