The main idea is simple: you stand on the platform, activate the switch and the biome gets active, mobs start to spawn rapidly. With this setup you can farm every biome key without leaving the farm. This farm could be most certainly improved further, but I lost interest after finishing the run.

Beyond just being in the Cavern layer you should also make your farm: In blocks: 168hori and 94vert from your farming location. THE BOTTOM HALF: should either be completely walled off, or just simply place a thin lava moat at the bottom to prevent mob spawns below the farm.
12 lis 2015 · Key Dimensions: The distance from the player's position in the kill chamber and the edge of each spawn surface closest to the player is 62 tiles. Each spawn surface is 22 tiles long, since spawns do not occur beyond 84 tiles from the player's position.
Allows to farm mobs from: Jungle, Hallow, Mushroom, Desert, simple cavern, Ice, Corruption, Crimson, and 2 hybrid. The biome "activates" through standing on the corresponding platform and activating the platforms of biome blocks.
