9 mar 2014 · After a while of playing around with it, I figured out how to fix it. In your GTA:SA folder, you may see a file called d3d9.dll, this is the DirectX 9 file required, however, GTA:SA doesn't detect it. To fix this problem, rename it to d3d9_32.dll. This fixed the problem for me.

27 lut 2014 · After reading through many threads, I've finally sorted out what seems to be the easiest fix for the issue where launching GTA-SA results in an error (on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1) of SA requiring "at least" DirectX 9. Open that file with 7Zip (or whatever archiver you use).
29 gru 2012 · The full Direct X redistributable (June 2010) is the best option in this case. This method overwrites the old files. The download will unpack to a folder in a location of your choice. You then install from the DXSetup.exe in the folder. After reinstalling DX you can delete this folder.
