Sigma Fusible Plugs are commonly known as Temperature Safety Elements (TSE) within the safety system industry. All Fusible Plugs have a core of fusible material that melts due to intense heat of a fire or other heat source.
Temperature switches TSE are elements for monitoring the temperature of pressure fluids. TSE: - Three nominal temperatures: 60°C, 70°C and 80°C. - Problem-free installation in FSA and FSK (here as TSE-L) - Simple standardised installation conditions (FSA / K) - Corrosion-free surfaces. Combined control and safety function. Patented MFS technology or traditional bimetal for independent non self resetting safety option. Direct plug-in to heating element to reduce wiring and mounting costs. Factory pre-set fi xed temperature for cut-out, OEM adjustable or end-user adjustable control temperature.
Temperature Monitoring. Temperature switches and sensors for the measurement and monitoring of the operating temperature. Local or remote display with programmable outputs.
Software for our instruments, drivers, visualization software and much more. WIKA – Your partner for pressure, temperature and level measurement.

Approximate Adjustment of Trip Temperature The TSE control device is pre-set to a trip temperature of 50 ºC prior to leaving our factory. In order to achieve the shortest trip time after a dry-run and thus the max. protection of the pump stator, the trip temperature at the TSE control device has to be set as low as possible.
