2 lut 2018 · I wanted to add telnet server on my macbook pro(macOS 10.13.1) and followed steps in How to get BSD FTP and Telnet back in 10.13 (High Sierra)? to install telnetd with homebrew. Everything was OK and I can find telnetd under /usr/local/Cellar/telnetd/54.50.1/sbin.
25 maj 2020 · Telnet has been removed from modern versions of the system software starting from MacOS Mojave and newer. These instructions will work for MacOS Mojave and newer, including Ventura and Sonoma (These are the steps that I have personally used to get Telnet back).
18 lip 2018 · Copying that telnet binary into the following location in modern macOS releases, including MacOS Mojave 10.14 and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.x, will allow telnet to run on the new system software releases: /usr/local/bin/. At that point you can run the ‘telnet’ command as usual.
