19 godz. temu · Joined: 17 Feb 2004. Posted 06 November 2024 - 09:53 AM. Hello, yes... total disappointment!! A few days ago I bought a binoviewer, the WO with two eps. 20mm WO and a 1.6x corrector. Today I tested it with the Lunt 40/600 and initially with only the bv. and the two 20mm eps don't focus, then I put the 1.6x in the bv.
2 sty 2020 · Welcome aboard Paul. I picked up a Lunt 40 about a year ago. Great scope. I have an 18mm Radian that lives in the case with the Lunt 40. Better than any of my Plossl's. If you add the pupil guide to the eyepiece, it shields the eye lens from stray light. I opted for the 1.25" feather-touch when I bought the scope.
21 sty 2022 · My answer is yes. After several months of learning the ins and out of capturing and processing solar images, I can say the Lunt LS40 with the B600 stop is providing satisfying mages. This composite image was captured with an ASI174mm and a 2.5x Powermate with an ASI tilt adapter on a SolarQuest mount.
14 lis 2020 · The Lunt scope uses a 40mm external etalon and determines the aperture , 40mm . The PST is also a 40mm scope except it uses an internal etalon that is tuned to operate in an F/10 F/R . I will not go into details but will say that there are safe and reliable methods to use PST etalons in larger aperture F/10 frac's .

18 lis 2021 · Some users (not on SGL) have commented on the CEM26 and backlash issues. Reading further it's seems to be a simple fix of tightening a couple of grub screws. The Facebook group has a slightly different perspective and seems to have quite a few positive reviews and tips.
