Interactive 2D and 3D room-scale or object FOV simulator for cameras, telescopes, lenses, etc.
9 kwi 2017 · I checked the simulation for 82° FOV and 119X magnification, for your 85mm f/7 scope. It gives the image below: the 82°FOV is 1231 pixels wide, while Saturn is 28 pixels wide (including rings). This means that Saturn apparent size after magnification is 1.865°.
- Replaced FOV formula with higher accuracy version for wide angle lenses v0.80 - First public release
Enjoy these FoV simulator experience on Telescope control. Make the most out of your compatible GOTO Telescope as these Field of View simulator improvements is also applied when you use Stellarium PLUS Telescope Control!
Enter the focal length of your telescope or lens to use for calculating the Field Of View (FOV) and the resolution arc-second per pixel. If you are using Canon/Nikon lens, APT will read the current lens focal length after each exposure and will update this value automatically.
5 kwi 2020 · Sebastian also added all three ATEO remote telescopes to the Telescopius Telescope Simulator. This tool allows users and students to select a telescope and deep-sky target to analyze the field of view (FOV).
