22 mar 2023 · Latex beds overall tend to rate better than a majority of memory foams, and have the lowest heat complaints when the mattresses are all-latex versus foam hybrids. PRO TIP: Make sure the mattress has a breathable cover, like natural cotton or wool, to allow maximum air flow.
I’ve seen some complaints about the mattress being too firm, and some said the topper was too firm or too soft. But I think the combo I got was pretty perfect. 🤷♀️ I also really liked their customer service when I spoke on the phone. Very friendly, informative and just a good impression.

I called Sleep on Latex the next morning and they recommended a 2 inch soft topper for half price. Fwiw, my lower back felt surprisingly good during the two days we slept on the mattress while waiting for the topper to arrive.
I just finished the main part of my DIY bed last night and went with the 3" medium latex for my comfort level. It was an incredible night's sleep and we're still adjusting from the old worn out mattress.
