TEC-9. The Intratec TEC-9, TEC-DC9, KG-99, and AB-10 are a line of blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols. They were developed by Intratec, an American subsidiary of the Swedish firearms manufacturer Interdynamic AB. Introduced in 1984, the TEC-9 is made of inexpensive molded polymers and a mixture of stamped and milled steel parts.
Some "experts" out there will tell you that the very first Tec-9s had machined button sights, yet here is a 1st run Tec-9 with blade sights with a low serial number. And then there are the so called "experts" that have never heard of or seen upper tubes with the button sights.

14 maj 2024 · Simple Sights: The iron sights on the TEC-9 are rudimentary, consisting of a basic notch and post setup. These sights are not designed for precision shooting but are sufficient for the short-range engagements for which the gun was ostensibly intended.

5 kwi 2024 · While the TEC-9 looks intimidating with its large size and distinct shroud, it’s still just a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. It’s functionally no different than any other 9mm pistol. If anything, it’s worse than standard 9mm handguns.
