They all have different styles, difficulty, themes and path layouts that make each map special. Some have a normal path layout, some have multiple paths and some have modifiers, which can change the usual wave layout or change the appearance of enemies.

These are the current and former wave layouts for Easy mode on standard maps. Bolded names indicates an enemy type's debut.
Waves that start at 1:00 are able to be skipped at 0:39, anything other than that the skip time is 0:53. Wave 39 can be skipped starting from 1:19. Sort of. It's meant to be the hardest mode in the game but Normal mode is also hard too due to the 30 wave limit, meaning you get less time to farm, meaning you get less money.
