8 cze 2019 · The EGR cooler bypass valve vacuum actuator. The flap is moved between these two settings/positions by a relatively simple mechanism. The engine is controlling it through the N345 solenoid valve, which either allows or disallows vacuum to be applied to the vacuum pipe that’s running to the bypass valve vacuum actuator.
6 sty 2019 · EGR cooler failures aren't that common on the CNRBs (internal leaks). External valley leaks from oil cooler/bypass valve/EGR flange/etc are common. Find a real mechanic, a valley reseal shouldn't cost anywhere close to $4k to fix.
Blockoff plates for both the hotside (at turbo) and cold side (at intake tube) of the EGR system. These 2 pieces are where the cost is, and are what actually reroutes the coolant that normally would pass EGR thru the cooler. The top piece appears to have the little brass thingy to bleed the coolant system.

9 lip 2010 · First, the pressure of the exhaust gas must be relatively high, as the EGR is taking exhaust off from the manifold section in between the cylinders and the turbo. This then means that if the egr valve and bypass flap are both open, high pressure exhaust will actually displace intake air in the total air intake charge.
On engines with a vacuum operated EGR system (BKD), the control valve is a solenoid valve which opens vacuum from the inlet manifold to the EGR valve actuator, when the solenoid is energised by the ECU.
15 kwi 2012 · Po wykręceniu śrub mocujących wyciągamy EGR i przepustnicę jednocześnie gdyż są ze sobą dodatkowo skręcone. Rozpoławiamy te dwie części i czyścimy EGR. Nie robiłem fotek EGR-a bo każdy naocznie będzie widział co czyścić.
