Depends on what you want to do - If you want to access IPV6 services easily, you can use teredo or miredo on windows- however performancewise this is terrible, and you don't have a global ipv6 address- generally the other options are better.

1 sty 2014 · Everything on my network is tcp/ip v4. All of the servers, the switches, and printers are static v4 addresses. My workstations are all DHCP v4 however we recently upgraded our DC’s which also house our DHCP, DNS and AD. I noticed that the new DHCP server handed off a v6 address to my new WSUS server which is what prompted me to ask the question.
9 gru 2016 · tcp4 is often used as shorthand for TCP/IPv4, and tcp6 for TCP/IPv6, for TCP over IPv4 or v6, respectively. It's the underlying transport that differs.
