28 wrz 2023 · No experience with either one, and have not heard much about Charter Arms, but Taurus does seem to have a reputation. While they do have some good firearms, they have a reputation for "hit and miss" QA and they have an awful reputation for Customer Service.
12 lut 2012 · Most newer models of the 85 are in fact +p rated, so it's fine to shoot +p. Criminals are often opportunists, I carry a firearm to minimize their opportunity of them making me a victim. Any standard pressure, and/or +P "Factory Ammunition" is fine, and SAFE; to shoot. DO NOT fire any +P+ ammunition in the gun! كافر. المسلحة. جاهزة. 1. Jesus Christ.
7 wrz 2020 · My only complaint is that their 1911 line of handguns has uneven quality control. To wit, they are either outstanding handguns, with many custom features, or they aren’t done up as well as they should be, with sloppy thumb safeties, or horrible trigger pulls, to a poorly fitted slide, just to name a few.
Two years ago, I re-named the then-new Taurus Curve the Taurus Turd. It all came about because I panned a gushing Guns & Ammo “review” of the novelty self-defense gun without sights at gunssavelife.com. G&A then threatened to sue GSL for ridiculing their “review.” Thankfully, they backed down.
Nice profile, barrel and lug similar to a S&W m66 snubby. You might not have known it at the time, but you might have bought the hardest revolver there is to shoot well. In addition to what others have said here, buy some snap caps.

23 lis 2016 · If you have a problem with the gun, Taurus offers lifetime warranty on their modern production guns. While I needed no service with this little pistol, my sole experience with Taurus warranty service wasn’t auspicious. Let’s hope that recent rumors of improvement in that area are true.
