4 paź 2020 · I purchased the Tarpon 160 because I was looking for a kayak I can paddle to far away fishing areas. So my requirements were speed, ability to handle rough-ish water in larger body of water, stability, and fishability (rod holders, tackle, etc.). I can honestly the T160 exceeds my requirements.

20 sie 2010 · Wilderness Systems Tarpon 160 Sit On Top Kayak Review. This is the ONLY kayak that I have ever regretted selling. Wilderness Systems Tarpon 160 kayak Gears Rating. 4 out of 5 gears. A good all-around performer. Wide and stable, but with a smooth, fast bottom and rocker for maneuverability.
The Tarpon 160 is comes with an optional rudder and in my opinion it would be worth the extra cost. The afore mentioned hard chine made the boat turn very nicely when edged, despite its length, and once the wind was away from the stern it behaved very nicely.
2 sie 2016 · I'm looking for a new kayak and was wondering if anyone has fished off the Tarpon 160 and what you think of it. I fish some bays but I do like to go offshore 3 or 4 miles sometimes. The tarpon 160 is the fastest option out there in the wilderness line up.
