For me one of the best is the GF01 I've come across - it's quirky like a Tamiya should be with a chassis that's one giant gearbox and interesting looks, but it also just works really well.
Something like the Egress, Top Force, Vanquish, Neo Fighter, etc are some of the best looking RC cars imo. If you are spending close to the $300 mark or higher on a Tamiya kit, you're better off with something like the Arrma Typhon or Senton. It will be far more durable than any Tamiya kit.
