Tacoma Power Parks are available to you and your family for camping, boating, fishing, water skiing, nature watching and day use. Our four parks are located in western Washington on the shores of lakes formed by our dams, which generate clean, renewable hydroelectric energy.
Alder Lake Park is located about 10 miles south of Eatonville on the northern end of Alder Lake, which was formed by Alder Dam in 1945. Our dams generate clean, renewable hydroelectric energy. The park is available to the public for camping, boating, swimming, water skiing, fishing, and day use.
Tacoma Power’s Mossyrock Campground is a family-friendly getaway with access to Riffe Lake (formed by Mossyrock Dam) in Lewis County, Washington. We built a new boat launch in 2018 due to changes to Riffe Lake levels.

Mayfield Lake and Dam. Formed by Tacoma Power’s Mayfield Dam on the Cowlitz River, 13 mile-long Mayfield Lake is the setting for camping, fishing and a multitude of recreational opportunities, with multiple parks lining its shores. The best close up view of the Hydroelectric Dam is accessed from Hwy 12 at Gershick Road at Silver Creek.
