I have a bar chart that is showing the count of files by category for each month. I want to show only the top 10 categories for each month and not all of them as there are like 100 categories. What would be the best and easiest way to do this?
I have attached an example workbook (v 9.3) using the superstore data set, with my category as the region. When filtering on just one region, I want to see the top 10 for just that region (i.e., when I filter on Central, I want to see 10 lines).
In the Data pane, under Parameters, right-click the Top Customers 2 parameter, and select Show Parameter. You can control the top N value by using the Top Customers 2 parameter control that appears in the view.
