15 cze 2008 · Use paste wax on the heli worm gears that raise/lower and tilt the blade. Use a toothbrush ot apply the wax. Turn the crank to get to all of the gear. Wax is an excellent low speed lubricant and sawdust will not stick to it.
19 lis 2013 · Something's wrong. Take the saw apart and inspect / clean / lube it. Remove the blade and fence rails then take the table off the stand and turn it upside down on a workbench. Familiarize yourself with how the mechanisms work. You will want to loosen the trunion cradle and set the blade parallel to the mitre slots.

24 sie 2021 · My guess (and it's only that) is that the only reason for the lever lock design is to allow clearance for the tilt adjust wheel (#14 in the diagram). I don't see any reason why you can't remove it and use a wrench.
