T-1 Combat. Overview. Tier 1 or T-1 Combat system is a turn-based combat system that is most widely accepted and utilized in the Roleplay Combat community. It revolves around both the abilities of your character as well as your own combat proficiency, strategy, and knowledge of realism.
Just like traditional Roleplay or regular Roleplaying games, players take turns initiating various actions in T1 Fighting. These actions mainly revolve around scenarios depicting entrances, preparations, attacks and defenses, or counterattacks in the narration of a fight.
There are four types of ‘turn’ that a player can make in a T1 fight: Prep, Attack, Defense and Connection. The fight is split in to 'tiers' which often consist of some/all of the aforementioned turns.
