11 wrz 2024 · Check if the remote control is provided by LG. The operational range of the remote controller is 30 degrees to the left/right and the operational distance is about 5 meters. But it is assumed that there is no obstacle in the middle and the operational range may vary depending on the surroundings.
Found the solution under General > Remote Settings I had the option set to "monitor remote only" switched it to "monitor + TV" and it worked right away in case anyone has this issue with the service remote.
11 wrz 2024 · 1. PC display setting for dual monitor configuration - In the PC display settings, set it to expanded monitor. 2. Connect the cable in the product package to both the PC and the monitor one more time. 3. If the same problem persists, then update the PC graphic card driver to the latest version.
As far as I've researched, there only way to access those settings is by hitting the "settings" button on the remote. Those settings do not appear within the windows app screen control, and I can't see anyway to access them with the app. TLDR: Do I need to return this monitor, is there no way to access these settings without the remote?
