22 paź 2018 · Check if the fan is still running at 100% continually. If it still does you have a motherboard problem, possibly the temp sensor thinking that the CPU is overheating but it could be something else ;-)
13 maj 2024 · While Windows does not directly let you control the fan speed, you can check which processes lead to increased heat generation using the Task Manager, thereby increasing the fan speed. Then, if you want, you can stop them and reduce the fan speed.
8 mar 2013 · Lately my CPU fan has been roaring along at 100%, and I'm having trouble figuring out why. It will, at one moment, be running quietly, and the next moment blazing at 100%. I haven't changed anything in the BIOS settings, nor have I installed any new hardware.

6 sie 2015 · One thing that seemed to ramp up the CPU use and fan is a process called Runtime Broker. Run the Task Manager and see if that's the case on your systems. With the RTM version of Windows 10, Runtime Broker doesn't seem to misbehave like it did on earlier previews, at least on my computer.
