Today’s post explains all of the special characters in Microsoft Word for Microsoft 365, Word 2021, Word 2019, and Word 2016.
The characters circled on the Special Characters tab in the screen shot above produce symbols that may be puzzling. The character that Word calls “No-Width Optional Break” corresponds to the Unicode character 200C, “Zero Width Non-Joiner.”
