19 lis 2009 · Scooter Seals in Taiwan is a great place to get SYM parts if you can't easily get them from your local dealer or Alliance. It's run by Cam Purvis, originally I believe from Canada, but he now lives close to the SYM factory in Taiwan.
Call a local dealer using the dealer locator on the sym website. Be warned you will have sticker shock. Probably more economical to buy the whole scooter. Or look for a wrecked one in your area. I always have this issue spend cash on the premium bike or build what I want as cheap as possible .... Good luck!
Used local dealers to get parts for all my scooters. Sorting parts from overseas - As Kymco parts are hard to source in US, I have used Taiwanese shops to buy parts. They offer genuine parts at fair prices, in fact, their prices are about 3-5 times less than those of dealers.

Taiwanese scoots such as sym, kymco, lance and genuine are reasonably priced, good build quality, reliable and hold their value fairly well. Chinese scoots are generally cheap, poor build quality, unreliable and don't hold their value.
They’re a Taiwanese brand, and have very good quality. They made their bones being a contract builder for Honda (Kymco did the same thing). SYM still contract builds for other makers, and IIRC they were doing some work for Maserati recently. We had zero problems with them at our shop.
