If you read the lyrics, there isn't really any concrete narrative but there are certainly common themes and threads. It's not exactly a story. There seems to be a pretty common thread of the fine line of cosmic horror and reverence and searching for meaning.
The Seer is the twelfth studio album by the American experimental rock band Swans. It was released by Young God Records on August 28, 2012. Producer and front man Michael Gira funded the recording of the album with the sales of the live double album We Rose from Your Bed with the Sun in Our Head (2012).

THE WOLF - A monologue by The Seer as he's now summoned from some unearthly prison. THE SEER - The Seer destroying and wreaking havoc on anything around him.
The Seer is jealous because he was an Apostate (someone who renounced religion) and never believed in heaven and knows he must suffer on Earth for ever. He ultimately fails but reflects on everything and feels strangely happy
