Sadly this is probably the best answer. I LOVE Med 2, but I’ve played it since it came out ages ago. I think that makes me able to look past the “oldness” of it.
Med 2 just had SO MANY hidden mechanics that were beautifully crafted, and it's underlying systems are janky but sensible. I feel as though Med 2 is also more on the hardcore side, making it feel more realistic even in comparison to something more modern like the 1212 mod for Attila.
What I struggle with the most in both Medieval 2 and Rome remastered is the one unit per turn recruitment and the way you replenish units. I thought it was great at the time, but after playing the more modern games, I struggle to go back. Medieval 2 is still great and playable today, but it does feel old in more than just the graphics department.
In the computers department we sell an Av called total defense. If you know of it, could you guys rank it? I’ve heard that mcafee and Norton are complete trash, so I wanted to find out whether this one is too or if it’s actually good. Not brilliant. It's below windows defender.
