10 lip 2014 · The carburetor equipped engines of that engine series are hybrid electronically controlled carburetors that require the OEM sensors and ECM to properly function. I would strongly recommend using your original carburetor, or a rebuilt equivalent for which you have the proper ECM.
16 maj 2021 · The potential give away is a coolant feed to the idle valve, a bimetallic strip within holds open the Idle valve until the engine is warm. NOt sure if these apply, but they may.
7 paź 2009 · I run wasted spark with one 60-2 toothed wheel and a VR sensor on the crank. I had a few problems with noise on the VR sensor signal so if I were to redo it i would go for a Hall sensor instead, (and of course you need to fix the root cause for the noise too see noise problems below). Noise problems:
I found a 2 or 3 light pumps on the accelerator pedal cleared the issue until another day. You could try replacing the CAS and replacing the cam seal inside the housing at the same time. I bet you have an oil leak there.
18 cze 2024 · Suzuki G13b. by mdc689 » Tue Jun 18, 2024 5:20 pm. I have a twin cam Suzuki G13b out of a 89 swift GTI. my queston is someone cut the valve seats way too deep on it. It uses bucket type hydraulic lifters.
11 lut 2004 · The 13A is the Samurai engine, and the 13B was the Swift twin cam engine? If so, the swift is a far better engine with a forged bottom end and a much better flowing intake, head and exhaust manifold. even though you give up a few CCs, this is the motor to pick!
16 cze 2010 · There are a few problems with them, but they're worth investigation. I think the biggest problem is the transmission gear ratios, as they're rather wide, and first gear is VERY short. I believe they are also a cable-operated clutch. Not a terrible issue, and can be converted to hydraulic.
