Hamachi Lover ($15/4*) Spicy hamachi in the middle, hamachi slices on top then drizzled with spicy mayo and topped with green onions and fresh sliced jalapenos. Not as spicy as one would assume with these ingredients. This is a roll that I felt represented San Jose quite well, equal mix of Mexican and Asian.
Sushi Island is everything you want in a local sushi spot. Small but charming with generous portions of fresh sashimi, it is a welcome addition to the Branham dining scene. The service was attentive and kind, and the presentation of the dishes was top notch.
