Drakes are wingless dragons found in the middle level of the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon in Mount Karuulm, requiring level 84 Slayer to kill. As they are only found within the volcano, players must wear the boots of stone, boots of brimstone or granite boots to protect themselves from the extreme heat of the dungeon floor.
Comparing superior drakes to superior abyssal demons (84 and 85 slayer requirements respectively), drakes have 230 more HP, higher defensive stats across the board, and a more punishing special attack that cannot be prayed against.
Just wanted to ask around to see if there are any tips or strategies for the superior drake. Two superiors spawned the first time I did the task a couple of weeks ago. I tried to melee, kept getting hit 30s and died both times before even making a dent in the hp.

Use house tele tabs for ornate pool, fairy ringed back, banked, repeated. I had a task of 100 drakes, I finished it in 2 hours, and I made 1m with no uniques. 500k per hour doesn’t seem bad to me, especially when this cost less than 50k an hour on supplies.
