I recently watched Superbad, after noticing the IMDB score of 7.7 and Rotten Tomatoes score of 84%. I did think the film was well made, but there were only a few scenes which were really funny, and I enjoyed American Pie much more.
Before I watched this movie I checked its IMDb rating and was convinced by 30,000 IMDb users that the movie was 8.4/10. This put it ahead of Scarface, The Princess Bride, and The Big Lebowski on the top 250 movies list.
