The Sungai Selangor dam forms part of the Sungai Selangor Phase 3 Scheme. The reservoir is located in the headwaters of Sungai Selangor. Releases will be made in conjunction with the existing Tinggi reservoir (Previously known as Sungai Buloh reservoir). The releases will enable a total of 3000 Mld to be abstracted from the river.
