That Jazz Bass/synth bass hybrid is a creation that Clements herself put together in order to be able to easily play both instruments while also singing and executing her stage kicks. In this clip, Clements gives an inside look at her creation and breaks down how she built it and how she uses it.
#1. So, I caught the CMT New Women of Country concert last night. The headliner was Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland fame. Enough about that... Jennifer's bassist was Annie Clements. What a talent! Not only is she rock solid on bass, she is a freaking incredible vocalist. That lady was singing over Jennifer one minute and under her the next.
