20 gru 2013 · The STi Group-n engine mounts are for use on the 2002+ Imprezas. They replace the vehicles factory mounts, which allow for excess play and motion of the engine. This excess motion can negatively affect performance and handling.

28 lut 2009 · #1 · Feb 28, 2009. Hey, If anyone does their own motor mounts, I highly recommend getting a 14mm gear wrench to aid in getting to the rear mount bolts. It was a life saver, for sure. I just jacked up the motor about 2 inches (make sure you disconnect the airbox elbow to turbo inlet as well).
These Engine and Transmission mounts are made by Subaru Technica International to replace the stock parts. They are made using stiffer rubber and plastic to reduce movement of the engine and transmission under hard acceleration and braking. These are strongly recommended for highly modified engines.
