13 paź 2021 · The mac's fan has been running very loud for a few weeks now, i googled it and did an SMC reset, but this has not solved the issue. The fan issue happens pretty much at all times and all work loads.
28 kwi 2022 · For the past several weeks the fan keeps coming on. I understand that it will boot on if I am doing activities like gaming... but this is ALL the time. I could simply be using text edit and it will come on. I checked the activity monitor and nothing seems to be using a lot of CPU.
24 kwi 2024 · I've been having this issue since January. MacBook Pro 2020 with touch bar, i5 chip, 16GB RAM, 1393 battery cycles. There are times when I close the lid and the fan continues running. Sometimes the fan stops after a while, but other times it runs continuously until the battery runs out.
