STS1000 is designed for 4.0-5.0 liter engines and delivers up to 620 crankshaft horsepower while STS1002 is for larger 6.0-7.0 liter engines and delivers up to 760 crankshaft horsepower. These turbo kits give you the groundwork to install a patented remote mounted turbocharger on almost any vehicle.

Our systems utilize Precision 62mm turbos, Air-To-Air intercooler, and your choice of an exhaust connection type. Our kit has been tested on several 5.3L and 6.2L applications. Horsepower ranges start around 500rwhp, and have seen over 800rwhp with just the change of a spring, or boost controller.
7 lut 2015 · The only turbo kit made for the 8.1L is a downstream style single blower made by STS. It is a very good idea to replace the bottom end with forged parts if you're going to run boost on this engine. That's all I can think of right now, but feel free to ask questions and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
