Streets of Rage 2, known as Bare Knuckle II in Japan (ベア・ナックル II), is a side-scrolling beat 'em up released by Sega in 1992 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It is the second game in the Streets of Rage game series and sequel to Streets of Rage.
A sequel to Streets of Rage (1991), the characters Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding return while the game also introduces two new characters: Max Thunder, and Eddie "Skate" Hunter [d], the younger brother of Adam Hunter from the first game.

Three games in the series were released between 1991 and 1994. The first entry, Streets of Rage, introduced the four main characters: three young, former police officers Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and Adam Hunter; the antagonist being Mr. X, an evil mastermind.
