1911builders is legit. Check out matrixprecisionparts.com for jigs and tooling. There's a lot of places you can get 2011 frames. STI is one of them. Edit: it's nothing like a p80 kit. Watch all of Mosin virus's 2011 build videos a few times to get a good idea of what the process is like.
30 sty 2019 · The STI 2011 frame with slide is $799 before any discounts. I have a Kimber Polymer that was rebuilt by Virgil Tripp many years ago, but I was thinking I wouldn't mind a high capacity 1911 in something other than .45, too.

14 lut 2017 · Almost all supported plugs only come in Govt/Cmdr/Officer but not 6 inch. Also on order is a Limited-10 Machining Widebody 2011 frame in Carbon Steel with a Wilson/Nowlin Ramp. Here is my build list so far. These are parts that I have ordered.
29 wrz 2016 · As of right now, based on vendor websites, it looks like the only options for 2011 frames are: - STI frame "kit". - CK Arms. The STI Frame "kit" costs $560 (for the long, wide dustcover version) and the CK arms $250 (and already comes with a ramp cut).
