Instead of doing Stella Adler I decided to pick up summer theatre acting apprenticeships instead (and a summer acting student in residence program abroad) and I walked out of those a much stronger and more confident actor, with some strong industry connections in theatre.

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, in New York City, was founded in 1949 by Adler. In 1969, it became the first professional training school to become affiliated with New York University 's Tisch School of the Arts. The studio became a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization in 2000.
