4 cze 2022 · so, my question is: if you support a guard skill with cast on damage taken, when you take a hit, does the buff affect that hit, or just subsequent hits? and what are the best support gems for a guard skill?

you need to take 5.2k damage, with a char that have over 5.2k life can use it to mitegate 3.6k further damage. Steelskin also have its inate cooldown of 3 seconds, and if you can get back over 5.2k life you should be able to proc it again.
this mean: in one of your 4links (helmet, gloves or boots) you put skill A and B supported by support gem C and D. here the guide tells you to socket a movement skill and a guard skill and support them by arcane surge and inc duration.
I recommend you use it with cast when damage taken, the higher level the more damage it absorbs. but you need to make sure that whatever level it requires is = or under the level CWDT says. Ex: Lvl 15 CWDT This gem can only support skill gems requiring level 65 (to use) or lower.
14 sie 2019 · With your CWDT gem at its current level of 11, you'd need to take 1485 damage before the linked gems will trigger, are you sure you've been taking that much damage? Most people level it to around 5 or 6 and stop so it triggers more often from a much smaller amount of damage taken.
