The "Req lvl" is the level required for Steelskin, whereas "Supported lvl" is the level that CWDT can cast at its current gem level. The green colors is where Steelskin and CWDT Match in Required and Supported, and where one would correctly assume the best Dmg/Shield to be.
25 wrz 2019 · Molten Shell: use it with characters with decent/good armor base, as it bases the damage absorved on 20% of your Armor value. Reflects upto 3000% of damage taken, nice against packs. If you have 29k armour (not hard to achieve), it will absorve up to 5800 damage, and if it is a lvl 10 MS, reflects 920% of that, that would be a 53k explosion.
Now, if you hover over the molten shell that is linked to that CWDT, it will also say that. If the one on the molten shell gem is LOWER or EQUAL to the one on the CWDT gem, it will be automatically cast after taking enough dmg.
So I have steelskin quality 23% and cast when damage taken 20% both lvl 1 and linked together but it won't work. Skill is blackened out and says skill can't be used. Cast when damage taken says this gem can only support skill gems requiring lvl 38 or lower.;

2 mar 2024 · When using Molten Shell you need to have >10k Armour. Steelskin should be put on Left Mouse Button (LMB) to auto-cast when you move. Molten Shell should exactly be level 10, linked with a level 1 Cast when Damage Taken Support to trigger only after you've taken damage.
Steelskin is a Guard utility skill that blocks an amount of damage. Once depleted, the damage will go through to you. Guard skills do not benefit much from support gems, and Steelskin can be used well without supports. Automatically cast Steelskin after taking damage.
